Overall BMW at VERTU provided a good service. Car in for check after inadvertent movement forward after software update. I am reassured that the car is safe to drive. Only issue is you tired to charge me after saying this was a zero invoice.

The service was estimated at 2 hours so I opted to wait. It actually took 3.5 hours and I seemed to spend at least half an hour waiting for a car wash which ended-up making my car look worse than when it went in externally. Internal clean was fine.

The video was informative regarding the service and the work needed. The person who spoke to was helpful. We needed two new tyres. However, when we collected the car, both tyres were under pressure meaning we had pump them up on the way home.

Confusion over new brake pads. Nearly charged for a battery that didn't exist. Charged for wash bottle top up with water. Still trying to sort out the 7 month old brake pads that apparently are 66 percent worn!

The only downside while waiting for the car to be serviced was the temperature inside the building, it was freezing. Not sure how the staff are working at those temperatures without being ill.Maybe in the future things might change?

The garage did all I asked of them. However I had 2 more engine sensors failed which now makes a total of approx 10 in the past 2 years. Ive had BMW diesels in both 5 and 7 series for 30 years without 1 engine sensor failure. What has changed ?

Dropping the vehicle off was easy and there was someone at reception to help me. When I went to pick it up, I waited for about 5 minutes at reception. Several members of staff walked past me, making eye contact, but no one asked if I needed help.

Running in service was supposed to be about 2hrs (11.30-13.30), so we went for a walk coming back about 13.50. No one on reception and advised to sit and wait with refreshment. Car was eventually handed back at 15.00 - sat waiting over an hour.

After the Vehicle Health Check, i was informed that the coolant level was zero which I couldn't understand. When i went to collect it, I questioned this information as they wanted to drain the system at a cost of £320. After a second check it was ok.
