Poor communication. I had to chase an initial update having heard nothing in the first 3 days - after that the service receptionist kept me updated. I had the impression that I was not a priority as the car was bought from a different BMW dealer.

I had pre booked an MOT on line but it had not registered between BMW and Vertu. Vertu York rearranged the MOT for the same day so I was not inconvenienced. Just the MOT, free Health Check (peace of mind) and car clean. All brilliant thank you.

Overall pretty satisfied. MOT and video feedback of car health excellent. Reception staff always good. Had wing mirror replaced but required a second appointment as mirror electrics not fixed properly on first visit.

I was very pleased with the actual service/MOT and seasonal check work that was done but I was disappointed at pick up when it wasn't identified I had a service plan and my car wasn't washed even though that was an option I had selected.

The service picked up an issue with the front suspension (a component failure) which I believe should be covered under warranty. I was initially phoned and offered to book it in to be replaced but warranty coverage wasn't mentioned.

Great people but quite annoying that having spent circa £900 on 4 new tyres that within a minute of leaving the garage, the tyres, all were displaying low pressure. When they fit new tyres do they not check if their is enough air in them?

Booked a 'waiting' appointment approx 2 months before the service was due to ensure I got that 08:30 slot. Arrived on the due day at 08:30. Work on car not started until after 11:30. That being the case very unsatisfactory.

First time I've used vertu in York. I delivered my iX car for a short service at 10am. I was told to collect at 5. I arrived at 5pm to find the car was not ready. The car was only available at 5.45pm. Poor communication throughout from the service.

Service done promptly and efficiently. However service desk needs improvement - twice when booking the service it was agreed I would be given priority as I had to leave promptly, but on arrival at the dealership no knowledge of this at the desk.

The only reason I wasn't completely satisfied was because I never received a call to say my car was ready, it then took me 2 attempts to get through when I called. It was 16.45 when I made the calls.

When I telephoned to book the service your representative was not aware that I had the service package in place. When I brought the car in the lady on the service desk initially said that the service was not due for another 1000 miles!

The main purpose of the visit was a pre- MOT check and then MOT. That was done but other issues mentioned in the booking weren't. Also you told me that the exhaust system problem couldn't be resolved by you as you cannot get the parts. I can online.

Had to wait over 5wks for a repair while you wait, then after waiting nearly 2hrs been told there wasn't a fault as a recent software update had rectified the issue of a faulty tail light, so i wasted a morning and 48mile round trip

I was told my car needs a new 12v battery but there is no warning light on. The price was very high compared to other fitters. I was also told on the workshop video my keys needed new batteries when I picked it up no one mentioned this and not done!

Not a great result at all. I took my car in because the DAB radio was losing reception in several channels; the BMW technician said there's nothing wrong with the radio, it passes all the tests so there's nothing they can do about it. Great eh?
